With over 150 years of history, Westcott has proven its reliability time and again by providing customers around the world with exceptional cutting and measuring tools. The Westcott brand has been through three centuries, two World Wars and the Great Depression. Established by Henry Westcott in 1872 in Seneca, New York, the company grew rapidly and was run by the Westcott family for almost a hundred years. By the beginning of the 20th century Westcott was one of the top companies in the industry, selling products across the globe. Westcott was bought in 1968 by Acme United Corporation which today operates out of Shelton, Connecticut. Acme United Limited in Canada is represented by Acme United Corporation.
